I hope the stress doesn't kill me

Yup, it's that awful time of the school term once again, just a whole lot worse this time. Let me list out my poisons.
  • 19 pages of backgrounds to draw for a storybook. Right now, I'm on page 6.
  • My entire bloody portfolio for VizComms. Sketches, roughs, steps, finals. It couldn't come at a worse time.
  • An "Art Installation" project in Scratch. Prototype ( Read more... )

Aww thank you very much. This does help.

What I do is I usually list out things I need to do for the day, but ultimately, something that's supposed to take an hour at most stretches to 4 hours. I planned and sketched out all I had to add to the pages for the kid's storybook but when it came to actually drawing it in Illustrator and Photoshop, something as simple as the living room took me 2 hours. >.< I'll upload some pictures later! <3 And the thing that's really bad is that even when I put in break times, I don't use them, because I'm so bothered about work. When I do use them, I'm too caught up worrying to actually fully utilise the break properly, and then I'm back to my miserable work state once more. >.< Ahh and usually I go on SL for a bit and then leave myself there and do my work. ._. I'm guilty of being afk alot but I do check back more often than I guess I should.

Aww! That's cool! I use that technique as well. They taught it to us a while back. It's the research that really kills me though. That and shoving everything into 1000 words. >.< I love to write but essays really kill me.

I think I'll give the timetable planning another shot. ._. What I really hate about this is that even when I can wake up late, I automatically get up after only 6 or 7 hours of sleep because I'm so troubled by school. Two nights ago my mass media group and I got together for about 5 hours, till 9pm to discuss the 6000 word paper. This was probably the 3rd time we've sat down together to write out an outline of what we would do for the paper. We then sent it off to the lecturer for approval and she ended up turning it down yesterday. We're all pretty much at our wit's end.
