Good lord. I knew it would be somewhat difficult to go through all the paperwork for this study abroad thing, but I didn't know it was going to be so much.
There's a special form that Japan requires prior to allowing you to apply for your student visa as far as I gather. I only briefly looked over everything on Monday night before getting overwhelmed and putting it off till tonight.
On top of that I have to look around at the various scholarships I can get (I'm looking at knocking off $5000-9000 tops from the $40000 loan I'm planning on). This is on top of contacting a couple loan places. IES has one reliable loan company that I might use if the loan from my parents' bank is not very good.
All of this is of course stacked on school work that I suck at. I have to finish a couple papers and keep up with the day-to-day work as well. By the end of the month I need to send IES $500 to secure my place in the program as well as pay rent. It's gonna be a trying semester, and I am rarely up to the task.
