putting the -ick in pandemic

I think I have bronchitis....fml! I got sick sometime between my stay in LA and my trip to Alaska. With all the swine shit going on and madness, I thought I might have it (since I had a fever one of those days), but I immediately discarded the option since I wasn't projectile vomiting/diarrhea-ing. I did stick my feet in extremely cold water in Anchorage...seemed like fun, really. It was pretty fun actually, hehe. The change of temperature between PR, CA, and AK I'm sure didn't help either. I didn't think it was going to affect me that much, since I lived in PA, and been through many rough winters (I know, I know, not as rough as Alaska...would love to see how that would pan out one day, though).

At first, I thought I had allergies with sinus (I have really bad sinuses, and I'm really looking into getting that fixed! It's an expensive procedure, cause technically it's like getting a nose job, but not. And believe it or not, I like my nose). Both Mariana and Heather have cats (nothing against their cats...Myshka and Nittany are the cutest little shits ever), and I am severely allergic to cats. Severe as in the minute I walk into a house that has a cat, I begin to get sneezy, scratchy, and my eyes get really watery. So I started taking Zyrtec. Well, THAT didn't work! It made me delirious (ask Heather). I may have later mixed the Zyrtec with Ampicillin (an antibiotic that has a mix of a lot of shit there like penicillin, cephalosporins, etc...Yari's gonna be so proud of me), which might explain the deliriousness (perhaps some hallucinations too) and why I was all strung/drugged out. I switched OTC meds and got Tylenol Cold and Flu, some up the nose pump there to help with my sinuses and Mucinex (which I didn't start taking until today, because I didn't want to mix anymore pills). Anyway, maybe my allergies triggered my potential bronchitis. I think I'm going on Saturday morning to the doctor. I hope they can give me something that can relieve something. Or make breathing better, because I haven't done jiu jitsu in a while, and I'm missing it! I don't think I can do jiu jitsu while I am having problems breathing. Or maybe....I might try it, since I'm into doing stupid shit (like sticking my feet in extremely cold water in Alaska, etc).

My illnes(es) didn't stop me from my Alaskan adventure! That would've been BORING! I did so many things, and honestly, 10 days are not enough for such a wonderful state. I went hiking, camping, nearly get killed by a moose, fishing (and met a hot fisherman captain person...yum, I miss him...oh right, and fished a big ass halibut), eating delicious food (and not gaining weight, woo!), etc. Hanging out with Heather was fucking awesome (mushy time: I missed her :P). I hadn't seen her in two years :(, like most of my PSU friends. Last time I saw her was at her wedding.....oh, have I mentioned that I was sick then as well? I hope next time I see her again, I won't be dying and hacking up a lung.

Tomorrow (or sometime in the near future), writing my huge update on Alaska. How much I enjoyed it, and how I want to go back :D And not get killed by the wildlife this time...

*cough cough hack* time to sleep!
