He led Brody across the city, down the alley ways to the sordid, lethal parts of town. It wasn’t that he thought Brody would go alone. But perhaps that was the point? Let him see what fun a rave could be, what delight it could bring with its drugs and its alcohol.
But there was a darker side too, one that Percy for one would use to his advantage.
He paid the doorman the fee, and pulled the boy into the dark pit as the music thundered and vibrated around them. For Percy it was a whole new level and understanding. People were drinking, snorting, popping, dancing, fucking, anything and everything and they didn’t care. There were others of his kind there, too; their eyes turning to him and the boy as they passed, calculating and wondering who he was.
“Pick a poison…” He was going to make his point clear to the boy by morning. Stupidity was deadly.
