Everyone is dying
I can't count on my fingers and toes the number of people that I knew well, grew up with, and was friends with that have died in the past 5 years. Tonight I just found out that Matt Reid, a friend of my brother and an aquantence of mine that I grew up with, died tonight. I just saw him yesturday as I drove down his street. I was talking about him last night about some funny events in the past. This is real shitty. The way he died was worse, he overdosed on heroin. I knew he smoked or used to smoke weed but I had no idea he would do something that extreme. He was a really good kid with a lot to live for, Christ, he was only 18. It really sucks how stupid shit like this can happen to good people. I know he had a choice, I wish he would've chose the right one. We'll miss you, Matt.
