today rocked my socks off, man
well so- an interesting day --->
^first off church was great today. the rabbi came and did the sermon instead of bob. i thought it was very good. it talked about opening our ears to each other and learning from one anothers faiths because they are different. i thought it was interesting...even though i made a fool out of myself introducing myself to him this morning. UGH
^then me and kate were supposed to go out on a nature trail thing and take pictures and blah blah blah...BUT...little miss didn't ever give me an answer as to what we were doing..so i felt ditched. well since kate didn't join me.. and rich was at my house anyhow from church (and i really really really wanted to go..) i went with him. we went to forest rd. park and i took my professional camera so i could take pictures of the play ground and rich laying in the middle of the baseball field in his nice clothes and what not. =) it was great fun.
^something was definately strange about him today though- i didn't really know what... we had a little talk though and i got upset (but then again i always am...) because of the way his life has been.. =/
^on another note- i didn't feel like going home and being all alone, and rich was pissed cause he can't drive me anywhere.. so i called shelley and she came and picked me up, and we just chilled for a little bit at her house before youth group. john was inside watching his giants game and we sat outside talking..getting really hot, and tan. =D
^AND THE BEST PART ABOUT TODAY WAS::::::::
- youth group kick off!!! <333333
a lot of people were there and i helped shelley set up before hand since i went with her earlier of course. ther are two new youth leaders, jen for middles- and diane for us. (senior high) and of course sue judge. :)
we played games that took team work and learned about that type o f thing..next week is the first small group and it's at shelley's house. THANK GOD THAT YOUTH GROUP IS STARTING AGAIN.WOW I MISSED IT.
