A Random Discourse...
Two Entries in one day! Holy-Guacamole!

I'm in one of those uuber-happy-for-no-other-reason-than-PMS mood swings. My period usually drags me down and makes me depressed as hell. Suddenly, I'm estatic for no reason. Even though my thoughts wanna be all depressed, the rest of me is going for happy. The result: hyper.
I hate my period. It's quite literally a pain in the ass.
Enough on that, though. I had three dreams last night. Three distinctly different totally bizzare dreams.
The first was Alias inspiried. Everyone loves being an action loving assassin/agent on mind control drugs. Normal recurring dream for me, I've had others along the same storyline before. Those dreams are mostly harmless.
The second was the one I least remember, just something general about being in the back of a wagon. Probably some sort of punishment for worldbuilding to death and not writing in my damn near perfectly real world. I get to ride in wagons through it though.
The third freaked me out and made me wake in a cold sweat. Thats normal enough except the dream was not violent or graphic or the usual level of disturbing. It was benevolent and caring and a tiny bit sensual. And terrifyingly possible.
Ugh. Don't want to talk about it to you guys, since some of you were involved and that's akward, but sheesh. Sometimes it's hard to see that dreams aren't real. It's harder to feel it.
In other less freaky news, I'm trying to decide how one character can be good at cooking and sewing and also at language when she's basically an outcast/orphan/peasant. Hrm. Maybe she'll just be good at languages and sewing, then. Thats useful enough. And I'll make one of the guys good at cooking. Which of the twins is good at cooking? The handsome fiesty one or the friendly jokester? AUGGGHHHHHH, details. I would just write it as it comes, but the details of the first bit are sort of the foundation of the characters, which are sort of more important than the actual plot.
Whew. It's too bad I can't write the intro. I've tried and stunk. I guess I'll try to write a few other beginning bits and pieces.
Anyone have any advice on how the HELL to have about 9 people all meet without overloading a reader with important character names?
