Hurray for old people!

They slowly get up as the music starts, bones aching, muscles spasms coursing through their bodies, but they don't care, this is their night. As the men slowly spin the women to a tune that sparks to life a distant memory some 50 years ago doing this very same dance to this very same song, all the crowd see's is a few seniors having a good time, but what they can't see are the beautiful young ladies in shimmering dresses, and suave men in their best pinstriped suits, all dancing in sync to the song in their ears and the song in their hearts on a beautiful ballroom floor, the lights overhead making the dresses sparkle and shine as they dance the night away.
As the band ends it's last song and the ceiling overhead dissolves back into the night sky, smooth skin becomes wrinkled and frail, suits and dresses become nothing more than bargain jeans and k-mart loafers, they slowly make their way back to their seats to retrieve their belongings and head home, the spark still in their eyes for though it was only a few hours, for those few hours...they were young again.
