Hermione Baldwin is another of the second wave of colonists to the still-unnamed Graveyard World. Research and robotics are her passion, but most of all a safe world to do so in - until recently she'd been hiding as a man named Hermes Valverra on another planet in the portal network.
Perhaps here she'd be able to settle and just live.
First things first was checking the dating pool. There were a few options. Just a few though.
Most of them provoked pretty lukewarm responses.
Most of them . . except him. Angel Patel grabbed Hermione's libido in a glance, and she made no bones about letting me know she wanted this man. Which is all nice and ducky, but a child-raising relationship can't survive on lust alone and not ruin the kid.
. . . didn't really notice when I took the shot, but see that hula skirt in the back? You'll be seeing it again.
Luckily it seems the attraction is mutual - and compatible.
And then what followed was a good ten minutes of Hermione and Angel drifting off to somewhere else on the lot in order to become better acquainted, and these two following them. Zen'Dali, knock it off!
No Zen, you don't get to bring home a new boytoy-!!
GET BACK ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COUNTER.
Oh for fu- . . .
NO. BAD ZEN. No cookie.
So, to escape the creeper Gravetender, I had Hermione bring her date home to continue working her wiles on him. Without distractions.
. . . Just wow. I'm going to get interesting kids out of whoever marries you.
And speaking of marriage, Hermione nabs her Angel, and all before the welcome wagon arrives!
And speaking of the welcome wagon . . the brunette in the back is from an upcoming household - we'll see her again.
And I do mean later than this shot. But I'm vastly amused at what Hermoine is doing.
It was your choice to bathe naked in the kitchen! It's not my fault you find the guy fug!
Anyways, they're newlyweds and soon set the welcome wagon packing.
And celebrated.
Afterwards was an even routine of robotics, study, basic needs, and cuddling. For being a family sim, Angel's very tech-minded - this might actually be a family that stays small.
Even with the expansion on the way.
I really enjoyed playing this couple this week. I'll confess tho - I forgot to take pictures more than once. Other than this one and the one above, I have no pregnancy pictures, one post-birth, and then nothing until the start of toddlerdom.
So, present their son, Apollo! He was a pretty average baby. And with both parents home most of the time, easy to wrangle.
Easy to wrangle, and thus no pictures until this one, when it's time to blow out the candles.
And here he is as a toddler! Bamf!
His parents quickly discovered the sleep-depriving joy that is a toddler.
They also discover the joy of having a natural alarm clock.
See?
Apollo's a smart little boy, and within a day he's walking and a good half of the way to talking.
They also opened up a shop, 'Cold Gears' for selling the spare robots Hermione makes. So far so good, but it was really, really boring. I ended up with only this shot.
So we'll end here with a picture of Apollo and his new haircut. Isn't he cute? He's reminding me of someone though . . can't put my finger on it.

The Baldwins had no fires, nor burglaries, not even witches at their community lot except when they were leaving. So not so many pictures - it was a pretty pleasant but quiet household. I expect next week it'll be crazy.
