Am I back?
No, not really, not yet anyways. I am still alive, and in good health, I'm just a little swamped/intimidated right now.
In regards to Sims - I am still playing Sims 2, although I need to weed through my downloads again. I am playing Sims 3, and you may have noticed my last post was archiving a story I previously had on the exchange. I'm still doing this - and the Fortress is a large, multi-part story. Re-archiving it is turning into a minor nightmare considering that the Exchange stores two versions of each image - the shrunk, damaged version with the actual story, and a nice one in my picture storage. Which is full. Bleah. I end up yanking and having to rename each and every image before uploading them to photobucket so I can move the story here.
I'm now also the Dungeon Master for a Wednsday D&D Encounters storyline - the first session is tonight, and I'm a bit nervous despite it only being character building today. And I've been a DM before. Still nervous though.
On top of this is the need to get the apartment cleaned up and sorted - we've got a storage room that's been untouched since we moved in, and a crafting room that's an unholy mess. And my phone keeps breaking - I'm on the second one of the same model. I wanted to do an upgrade, but the hubby wants to keep going on the warranty since I insist on having a proper keyboard on my phones. :p
I now watch my nephew one morning every week. Which isn't bad, just early and counter to my usual sleep cycle. He's a sweet kid, so I'm very lucky in that regard.
There's also one more thing eating up my time - I'm the creative mind behind an an art tumblr. Specifically Ask Lace Secret, an Ask A Pony tumblr. My drawing skills have been improving steadily with the incentive provided by the tumblr, but that chews up a lot of time as well. Hmm. Ponies. *laughs*
