Wow, it's been a long time since I've posted, a blog post or fic or whatever.
I am in the grips of a panic attack whenever thinking about the future, and in the process of recovering from a particularly nasty bout with the flu. >.< Stay healthy, everyone! Health is one of the most important aspects of our lives.
While on the subject of health, I reach out to the many victims in Japan. I am continuing to pray for all victims.
It continues to amaze me at the speed of drama news comes on the internet. Already I am hearing about a lot more dramas that I can count. When will I be able to become up-to-date with all the dramas that I want to watch....@.@
Dramas I'm currently watching...
(Korean)
King Geunchogo -- OK, let me vent. I am NOT happy with the main guy here. He's a jerk. But this is a historical drama, so the culture of the time it's portraying is not the same as our modern views. I get it. But that doesn't mean that I can't vent.
Smile, Donghae -- When will the angst and the secrets end....@.@ It's already over one hundred episodes and the grandparents STILL have not figured out what's going on...and the evilness of the evil people does not abate, but only skyrockets. Come ON, scriptwriters.
Thorn Birds -- Didn't make sense in the beginning, and the plot's already getting crazy. The show's only on episode 8. I will still watch, just because.
Crime Squad/Homicide -- This is one show that I am really enjoying. Song Il Gook is always someone I enjoy watching, especially after his performance in "The Man Called God." Song Ji Hyo's performance here is better than her other roles. I feel that this role suits her the best.
Yaksha -- Just finished the drama, and if you enjoy especally carthatic dramas, this is the one. I could've sworn that I had palpitations while watching this drama.
(Japanese)
Quartet -- Matsushita Yuya...sigh...But anyway, I really like Fukuda Saki, so I'm watching this for her--LIES. ALL LIES. I'm watching it for Yuya. <3
Bartender -- OK. Fangirling. I just love Aiba in this drama. I've read the manga, too, but the manga doesn't even compare to Aiba here. <3 Kanjiya Shiori is also cute in here. I'm watching for Ryu/Miwa romance, but that's for the romantic in me. I'm also watching for the cocktails and drinks that ae featured in this drama. Speaking of which, I was rewatching "Kami no Shizuku" with Kamenashi Kazuya, because it's focusing on wine. Sigh...
Gaikoukan Kuroda Kousaku -- I started watching this for Oda Yuji, but then who do I see? Nissy! ^.^ It was like icing on a cake. I enjoyed Nissy's performance in here, and rushed off to rewatch him in "Ghost Friends" with Fukuda Saki.
Saijou no Meii -- When I first read that Saito Takumi was the confirmed lead, I honestly was curious to see his performance. I only saw him in Ryu no Gotoku (I think?) and in a couple of others, but never him in this kind of drama. Too bad that he didn't end up with the girl I liked, though.
ARCANA -- People have stopped putting up torrents for this. T^T I really liked Araki's portrayal of a pure-hearted policeman/detective in this one. I would like to see the conclusion, please, as I'm still stuck on episode 5.
Deka Wanko -- Eh. I don't say that this was the best policeman drama that I've seen, but it was cute. To a point.
OK, onto music.
.....

But...:3 The release of Takumi-kun Series: Pure is in May! Whee! It's faster than "Bibou no Detail," I think, since the release date for BnD was June 16 last year. I can't wait~
