this is where my heart, it longs to be.
herson, my little boy that i'm sponsoring, sent me a letter. i love getting his letters, they are soo adorable. and i love knowing that from hundreds of miles away i am helping this little child to school and church and be taught about jesus. it warms by heart. it truely amazes me how those people who have so much less than what i do are surprisingly so content and so full of faith. to them, the most important things in life are family, friends and jesus. not where they are going to find the next meal, or how they are going to get the money to afford decent housing, or even how they are going to somehow recieve medicine for their sick child. these people have so much faith in God, they trust Him with absolutely everything.
that is exactly how i want to live. with my faith in jesus, and support and love with family and friends. when it comes down to it...there really isn't anything more important to live for.
