k so i've been here for a week.. thought i'd show something.

this is our living room. it wont have a couch (it's our friend's), but i think we might get a sofa bed.
yay fireplace we're never going to use.
our backyard has a hurdle fence =D

on the right side of that picture is charlie's room.
this is charlie's room.
it's an ikea show room.

this is our bird.
his name is andrei
he is russian. and hates me..

this is a figure of a cardboard box. (it's the kid's.. obviously)
it's made of plastic.
but its a cardboard box.
.....i found it amusing >.>

this is my room.
everything is diagonal.. because i can.
the room is huge (in the basement) and even with everything diagonal (even the map) i only take up half the room -.-

and i dont have a closet.
so the other side of my room is my closet
BECAUSE I OWN SO MUCH CLOTHES >.>

but yea.
house is great. aside from the creaking floor boards, everything is awesome.
everything is walking distance
there's a thrift store, a dollarama (that's got EVERYTHING for a dollar.. like omg love), a really good irish pub, every branch of banks, 2 sex shops, a bingo hall,a value village, and a great music store all within 30 mins walk

i went to the church down the street yesterday, and it's tiny. i dont think the congregation is bigger than 50. the service is simple and traditional. everyone was really nice (and most were really old). they had a story time for the little kids, where the pastor actually comes off the stage to tell the children a story
pastor: 'so when i was a little boy, my hero was a hockey player'
*takes out a hockey card*
'do you have a hero?'
little girl: 'you were a little boy?!'
xD
wow.. you couldn't be more cute if you tried -.-
it was great.

i think i'm going to find a used bike somewhere

life, good things, update
