Or will by this time next week. It's a '94 Oldsmobile something.. Sierra Cutless, I think? With 89K miles, needs a replacement muffler, and the dude selling it to me is letting me do 100 dollars a month for ten months. The thing has potential. If you were to hit the body with a sledgehammer, the sledgehammer would shatter. It's black with a bad spot here or there.. I'll take a photo next time I see the vehicle. Brush up the bad spots, and I've got a mafiamobile. The thing is fuckin' HUGE. I have never drove something this large before. Probably eats gas like no one's business, but hey, it's transportation. I like sturdy, intimidating, outdated cars, for some reason. They convey the general principle that you're not here to fuck around.
Housing situation: Hopelessly Optimistic. The dude, let's say his name is Queequeg, called today to say that the girl living there moved all her shit out today and left town, and has told the landlady that I will be calling at 9am sharp on Monday. This is far before any listings have gone up anywhere on the place. I'm giddy with excitement 'bout it. With all these things suddenly landing in my lap, my normally abrasive demeanor is threatened to flip over to... *shudder*.. an optimistic and cheerful outlook on the future. If I'm asleep, please don't wake me up.
