still in Tampa
Had a very good weekend, beyond the getting to and from part.
To: flight delayed about 4 hours, then once we finally get into the air and over Atlantic City, the cabin pressure can't be maintained, and they turn us around to JFK and put us in a new plane. Get to Tampa at 3:30am, and totally miss all the Friday night events but for a room party where I popped my head in just to prove that I made it.
From: Get to airport to check in for my 2:20pm flight to JFK, it's cancelled. They rebook me on the 9:05pm flight direct to Boston. It's currently 30 60 120180 mins delayed. I came back to the hotel and have been attempting to kill the X hours before I have to go back. Signed up for all the flight notifications, I'm not going back until I'm pretty sure the flight will take off. Haven't slept since I got up yesterday at noon.
Update: home at 3:15am, I guess all told I was delayed about the same amount on each end, so it evened out. Kinda. *falling down now*
