Long time no see!!
A whole lot has happened over the last few months...so...lemme fill you all in...as quickly as possible...
Got married on the 23rd of September. It wasn't fancy...in any way, shape or form. But it was entertaining...and I found it incredibly non-traditional, which suited me just fine. We were actually gonna set a date and everything once we filed the paperwork. But due to shit going on with the state being in Mike's business, he looked at me the very next day and suggested that we just do it...just do it so we could get the fuck out. So, we called Mom...she picked Cory up from school early...then I got Deb excused from work so she could be my maid of honor or whatever it's called. Mike called the only friend he knew would be lazing around the house at the time, so he'd have a witness to sign for him. We had like 20 minutes to get everything and everyone organized. Deb didn't even have time to change out of her work uniform. LMAO So...picture this...Mike in jeans, a black t-shirt, tennis shoes, and a baseball cap cause he hadn't combed his hair yet. Me in jeans, my Rockford hoodie, and flip-flops with green toenails...my sister in her Logli's shirt and pants....and Mike's friend, Nate, in a black hoodie and cut off jean shorts. LMFAO. I couldn't stop laughing...even while the judge was going through the vows! It was awesome...would've been much better if everyone could have been there (Cass)...but it was still great. Mom still cried her eyes out.
Anywho, that's the first on the list to share. After that, the state still decided that they wanted to fuck with us...so Mike and I decided just to get the hell away from Rockford and Illinois. He'd had more than enough of the place...and I just wanted him to be happy. Don't get me wrong...I don't mind the move...I've gotten so used to doing it all my life. I'm just having a tid bit of trouble readjusting to small-town life again. Lol Plus...first time being away from my mom...and Deb...and Cory. I miss them the most...Deb and Cory. Amazingly. But it's not surprising...been around them for 19 and 16 years. Then, suddenly, they're not there whenever I want to see them...can't just visit anytime we want. But it's cool.
So...now we live in a little town in Nebraska.
