I need help purchasing a laptop. I have no idea what brand I want, all I know is I want something under $900. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I've heard so much about apple's...would anyone like to inform me on them. AIM: Perdida87.

I recommend anything with an amd processor. Intel sucks nut. That is all.

I have an HP and after that I'm lost. It's awesome but I forget how much it cost!

I built Susan a HP with amd processor for just about exactly $900. You can build them on the site. Any help or questions of what is good and bad message me on aim :P.

Oh and macs are great if you want to go out and buy all mac software. And good luck getting Microsoft word and stuff for free illegally on a mac. I personally hate macs. Their just a fad, their horrible computers by themselves.

Say theres a new program that your friend has, totally free and you want it too. Chances are it won't work on a mac.

I have a dell and it hasn't given me any problems. It's around 3 years old. What other brands would you suggest?

I think I deleted your last comment but thanks for all the info. I want a computer to edit pictures, have powerpoint/word,..the basics..I guess.
