Happy Memorial Day!
I love holidays - especially when I get the day off from work. ANyway we had a big crowd in here today. Lots of family and a few neighbors. It was the typical all american holiday. Hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad and all kinds of good stuff. The boys set up the volleyball net and there was a game going most of the day. The men played horseshoes and the women sat around and talked and watched after the kids. Overall it was a pretty good day. I just have one really annoying relative and she was here. Ack!
Markus and his family joined us today as well. I think he had a really good time. He doesn't have any brothers, so he makes good use of mine. Ha ha!!
But now everything is all cleaned up and everyone has gone home. I have to be to work at 7 am tomorrow but I don't mind. I like the solitude of the early hours before it gets really busy.
I still have some chores to do yet tonight so I better get to it. Hope everyone had a great day as well.
