mc chris ownz
I just got back from the mc chris concert. Three words: Oh My God. mc chris is officially the shit. I mean, he was the shit before, but now it is official. Me and Nekron got there at about 5:30, and went and stood inside the front doors. Not even 10 minutes later, mc and John come on and start trying to open the door. mc had his hat pulled down and stuff, and was acting liek eh didnt really wanna be bothered, so I left him alone. Within an hour there was a line stretching all the way behind the building. So at 7, we finally get in. We hung out and stuff for a while, and then some crappy punk band came out and did their thing. I swear it, they lasted at least a fucking hour up there. They would not quit. Ok, so we run over and get as close to the front row as we can. This stupid side show comes out and does their stuff for about 45 minutes I said. And maybe 10 minutes later, mc came out. And holy shit. What a fucking show. He came out to "mcchris ownz" I had goosebumbs. Between each song he stopped and talked to the crowd for a few minutes. mc is one funny mother fucker. Each song was awesome. After the show, he came out and did an encore of "Fett's Vette" and then took requests. People started yelling out "I want candy", and I was having none of that, so I started a "Hijack" chant, so he freestyled Hijack, and it was like one of the fastest flows I've heard. It was amazing. Then he did "dq blizzard" and then went over to the merch table and shook hands with everyone and signed a bunch of autographs. I had him sign my "eatings not cheating" book, and then went and talked to John for a few seconds and had him sign it too. I have a full roll of film from it now, and I got a picture with me him and Nekron. I'm gonna go develop it tomorrow, but yeah, needless to say, I was more than pleased. He totaly blew my expectations out of the water. I just wanted to capture my excitement in some form and thought this would be best. I'm gonna go take a shower and get to bed now.
