Somehow, I'm less than shocked after last weekend's Ravenholt that the Nero National boards are "Down for upgrades" I wonder what Joe V doesn't want people talking about??

What happened? I heard something about a barony seceding because of OOG bullshit with Joe?

(For folks reading, the following summary is OOG)

That was the gist of it. Folks charged with treason in Avendale, who apparently weren't at the event in question. Evendarr went against the pcs, supporting the charges. End result was Shoshoto and a half dozen others dropping themselves into Mithril golems and declaring Eastwyck out of Evendarr. For even more fun, the duke of Ravenholt was in a coma during this. Upon waking and getting the capsule summary, his reply was roughly "Am I dead and being tortured in Four Winds, or just trapped in Nightmare?"

The other baronies tried to take Eastwyck under arrest late Fri night, mostly to avoid being charged themselves for doing nothing. This resulted in Eastwyck producing the mother of all Paralysis Gas stockpiles, and taking down all the noble courts.

Not sure what got decided after the duke woke up, other than many long meetings.

At least they were nonlethal about it.

There was pretty much a gentleman's agreement in place that neither side go lethal.

One other bit I remembered: Now that the Duke's awake, there's at least a small chance the whole Duchy may secede.

Basically everyone in existance is agreed that the trial/punishment is ridiculous, and that there's something wrong in Evendaar supporting Avendale over it's own people. How to deal with that problem took up most of the meeting, with the final decision being that the duke is going to question the validity of the writs (and not execute Eastwyck, at least not for the supposed treason in Avendale - they might be executed for their actual treason in RH). At least that's the impression I came out of it with. Everyone was sort of dancing around all issues at all times.
