I've had the past week off from work. It's been awesome. Me and Meg have been cleaning up the script a lot, finishing up shots lists, and devising the shooting order / schedule. If anyone on long island wants to be an extra (probably a zombie), or has friends that might want to be extras.. production starts Sat. 16th and runs til Sat the 23rd. I'm pretty confident we can pull it off.
I saw Land of the Dead the other night with Mega, Pete, and Durand. It was sweet. A little slower pace than something like Dawn of the Dead, but I enjoyed it. Romero definitely employed some new concepts in his zombies, which is what me and meg are doing with our film. So if the master can do it, then we can too. We've had many complaints about the character of the zombies in our script because they're different.
Prelude to Land of the Dead... tried to see the Minutemen documentary at the brattle.. got high.. realized we were way late for the movie.. thought we were turning around.. got lost in the city.. ended up in cambridge.. got lost in the city again.. ended up back in cambridge.. had to pay to cross the tobin bridge.. went way out of the way on i-93.. ended up in dedham in front of erica's house.. found our way to brighton.. smoked more pot.
I saw Jojo the other night. We smoked a fat blunt and watched six feet under. I hadn't seen her in weeks but we should hang out more again.
Went to beerworks with my roomies and furture roomie and ben. We all got watermelon beers and they were awesome.
I read this book called the A-List yesterday. It's a young adult novel about growing up in Beverly Hills and it rules.
I shopped downtown with amanda. I bought lots of shit including the coolest belt ever and rodriguez's Shark Boy and Lava Girl book.
Also, I really like Saturday Night Fever.
