Hell is other people.

As of now, I'm officially upgrading to misanthrope. Things should be much easier now.

If you really think that logical interpretation has no place in faith or religion, then I PITY you. Faith is believing in something you can’t prove, but believing something that can be proven to be false has another term: delusion ( ... )

For those of you that viewed my Xanga this past week and read the debate on there, I would imagine you might think I'm a troublesome agitator that enjoys stirring things up and causing heated discussions. Calling your opponent names and insulting their intelligence is childish. Assuming you know better, just because "you know everything there is to know" (which is what was conveyed in your posts), is arrogance. Throwing away a friendship for pride's sake is foolish. A person debating with logic should not allow emotions to get the better of them. You're mistaking the viewpoint with the person. A debate should not be a personal attack. It then ceases to be a debate and becomes an irrational, senseless argument.
Mike is a great friend, and you know it! Where others would have walked away, he hung in there, even though you two have several major disagreeing points of view. Don't throw him away, like he's nothing. He truly cares about you.
We've all made it through so much together. Don't just throw that away. I beg both of you. I know we can find a way to work this out.
