Oh no he didn't.

I went to Cat's Cradle to see The Never and Hammer No More the Fingers yesterday.

But enough about the show.

The Never was playing one of their rather melodic songs, with one of the band members sporting the flute. Yeh, great. Personally, I preferred starting out with something more rocking. Because I had already done so much nothing earlier that day, I was pretty exhausted by that time. So while I was about to fall asleep standing there, I heard one of the guys standing behind me saying to one of his friends,

"Hey. You think we can start a mosh pit?"
"I don't know, man. Maybe."
"Yeah, I think there's enough people here."

First of all, dude, you don't start a mosh pit to flute music. That's like going back in time and kicking wheelchair Christopher Reeve in the nuts while wearing a Superman costume.  It's just offensive to human consciousness.

Second, when I turned around to see what kind of face would utter such non-sense, I see a guy who must have weighed more than the rest of the audience put together.

No. Just no. No matter how many people had crammed themselves into this show, no one will be able to catch you. And then when you land on the floor, you would end up creating a black hole there that will suck everything else in, including me.  ESPECIALLY ME.  No. No. No.

Fortunately, he didn't.
