Was reading part of Roger Ebert's review of the latest
Glittering NotAVampire movie.
It's opening paragraph describes the fact that a Vampire bite is similar to losing ones virginity. Yes, that has long been the implied symbolism of Dracula. But something crossed my mind that I remembered from the time not to long ago when I suffered through watching the first
Mormon McVampire movie.
The Cullens are different from other Vampires because they only feed off of animals, and not humans. Thus, if a vampire feeding is akin to sex, would that mean the Cullens are into
Zoopjhilia? Shouldn't the whole point of the books be the Cullens falling in love with all those Werewolves that live near them? Or is this the whole plot of the last book?
Obviously, I've never read one of the books, and have no intention of ever doing so.
I may eventually watch the movies when they turn up on cable, but only to see if my theory pans out.
