Hey kid. I visited your website and am wholly impressed with the output. Plus, I'm not quite used to the humble-sounding Thomas Dempster, instead of the provide-opinion-on-everything online Tom, but nonetheless, I liked the site.
I also listened to "reflets"...but the last 40 seconds or so were cut off, so I was angry. It reminded me very much of a two-'instrument' Explosante-fixe, yet I also twitched at the MIDI viola...really dumbed the piece down. If you ever can someday send me a recording of the piece, I would be much pleased.
I noticed what you said with your control of melody. It was unique and held the piece together for an otherwise exasperating time for solo instrument. There was a part that had either double stops or just accented notes, very tense, and the (insert electronic device) echoed it perfectly. If anything, it's almost all the good stuff from Boulez, minus the crap. But it's also something else.
I don't get the Ummagumma part though. Not once did I feel Ummagumma'ed. No way. Which is a good thing, I like new ideas.
Other than that, I'm trying to get my songs hosted on my site through my friend's university's hosting service. If you can, check it out when I get the files on there.

It's getting performed 9 April. It'll be up eventually.

I'm humble? I didn't know that. Unassuming, yes, but never humble.

For future reference, refrain from using my full name when commenting. Abbreviated first name is fine, but none else.

On the website you seemed rather humble...I'll take note of the name.
