Because every time I'm up too late I always think of things to do that I can't.

"oh, I should probably get in touch with Dr. Kent about lessons this semester oh hey wait it's 4 AM that'd be kind of weird when she checks the e-mail"

Pfft. That's what emails are for. Also sometimes some of our profs will respond at 4 and it's really creepy. Like. Dude, go home and get some sleep.

Haha, that really is kind of creepy. But I'm the type of person who thinks about these things. Normally one wouldn't care what the person receiving their e-mail would think about when the message was sent or anything, but I'm sitting there all "oh man would this look bad for me i better wait until the morning oh dang oh geez" and then I forget to do it.
