So, I'm overall happy.
It's pretty true to the story, only cutting out a few areas and blending but with the important parts in there. The fact that mom could follow it with ease says something, I think.
Is it perfect? No. It's much smoother than the trailer but sometimes it could be smoother. I thought I wouldn't like the 2D but after seeing the movie that way, I'm happy about it. The 2d old school cell shading gave the movie a traditional feel and provided for some majestic shots. The music was great although a bit loud at points. I'd say Tracy Hickman's review on Amazon is probably the best review.
He gave it 4 stars and as a fan I'd also give it 4 stars. Compared to all other movies, I'd say 3 or 3.5.
Anyway, I hope you all buy a copy. It's 12.99 at BestBuy right now and def worth that price!
