I in no way meant to imply a state of vulnerability. The last thing I want is for one of those acid spitters to go anywhere near another person. They apparently don't go away until the morning, or they seem to lessen. There weren't any in the police station, but I didn't go to the hospital. It's just turned morning here. You should be safe to come out, I would imagine.
