(no subject)
oh sweet jesus, the amount of work i have to do is sickening. school threatens to take over and annihilate my very existence. on top of this i have to contend with a parttime job and band responsibilities and wanting to be at the gazette as much as possible so i can get into an editorial position next year. it seems like a lot now, and i'm just freaking out prematurely i guess, just waiting for everything to even out. i have to go into campus this morning to drop my one english class and register myself in another, if that's at all possible. the class i'm dropping requires me to read a book every two weeks. no, sorry, can't do that. i guess that would explain why i'm the only 2nd year english student in the class. everyone else has already read these books.
my band got booked for a show at the el mocambo in toronto on october 28th! woot! who else has played there, you ask? oh, the rolling stones, elvis costello.. just some really great bands is all.
i don't have class now until tuesday at 10am. this makes me warm and happy inside. tonight i'm going to make katie supper, and, oh, there will be candles. i feel horrible that she has to deal with caf food on a daily basis, especially with her diet. that girl needs a proper meal.
