Crap. Break is ending. I really don't want to go back to school. Let's look at my school day.
First Hour: American Lit with Mohs
People of Note: Marcos, Kayti, John, Spencer
This class has two extremes. I absolutely adore some of the people in that class and absolutely loathe the others. It's the only class I have with Marcos, so that's a plus. It's nice having Kayti in there, too, as a secure partner. John is nice... but very hug-y towards me and that sucks... especially when he's neglected to shower for the past 2 weeks. Plus, he's always trying to partner up with me. Spencer is a fucking riot and attractive to boot. I love him so much. (But I love Marcos more.)
Now, that doesn't sound so bad... until you get to Mohs. Oh Mohs. I LOATHE her.
She's like a flipping android that has been programmed to teach and smile. She is of average height, blonde, smiley, and busty. She seems sweet at first, but she really isn't. She's extremely detached and it pisses me off. She liked me at the beginning of the year but our relationship has continued to worsen. Now, no matter how hard I try.. I can't get full credit on a single assignment. Not to mention I e-mailed her about something she said I had missing and she never replied. I told her my jacket had been stolen in her class--sometime in second or third hour, she didn't even bother talking to her classes. I do NOT like her. At all. She could stab someone in the stomach and twist the knife and still have the same freaking smile. AUGH. I don't believe I've ever had a worse relationship with a teacher.
Stars (out of 5): *** (Only because Marcos is in there, I swear. But even that's not enough to keep me from wanting to get switched out second semester.)
Second Hour: FST with Sternberg
People of Note: None
It's an alright class, but the problem should already be obvious. No one worthy of note, whatsoever. Very little socializing goes on and it gets to be a tedious boring class.
I still love Sternberg, though. She's nice and a great teacher. Granted, my attention span has been gradually declining since the beginning of the year. Blah. Stupid math.
Stars: ** (So. Boring.)
Third Hour: Enr. Bio with Sanger
People of Note: None
Same problem as FST. The thing with this class though, is it's enriched. So it's full of the Enriched/AP kids who think they're superior to everyone else. This atmosphere was one of the reasons I dropped my AP classes. These are the kids who do homework on Friday and Saturday nights. Not because they have to... because they WANT to. This entire class is one big clique I can't break into. Not that I want to.
Sanger is a great teacher, though. No story I tell can do him justice, you just have to be there with him. Granted, he's taking a paternal leave for about 2 weeks so this class is going to suck.
Stars: *** (The note taking can get dull, but Sanger does his best. I'm guessing it's going to be a * once the 2-week-sub comes in.)
Fourth Hour: Child Psych with Kieffer
People of Note: Sara
Sara isn't even that close of a friend and not much of a talker either. This class can get pretty dull and I spend most of my time chatting with Kieffer. That is... when she's not off dawdling with one of her favorites. My one problem with Kieffer is she seems to have a ranking for each student as to how much she does or does not like them and she does nothing to hide it. I understand teachers will inevitably have favorites... but Kieffer is out of control. She likes me well enough, I'm not complaining about this because she hates me and I'm -not- high on her favorites list. I'm complaining because it bugs me and I'm glad this is only a semester long class.
Stars: ** (I'd have given it three if not for the damn portfolio we have to do.)
Fifth Hour: French with Anderson
OH MY GOD. I HATE THIS CLASS.
Stars: -(NEGATIVE)***** (AHHHHHH!)
Sixth Hour: US History with Dalki
People of Note: Kayti, Ari, Ashiika, Kurt, MR. DALKI
I love this class. I refuse to take notes--sometimes I even sleep through them--I wing the tests but he gives so many easy points I still ace his class. Not to mention Dalki is the most genuine, sweetest person I have EVER met. I love him. So much. SO MUCH. AH.
Stars: ******** (I love you, Dalki!)
So. Wow. I'm scared to go back to school. :(
RO was fun, but not fun enough for me to want to pay for another month after this one expires. Marcos and I have been together for 3 months (whoo!) but since he was suffering intense stomach pains today (yesterday) we didn't get to talk. Oh well. Emily and Gin came over at about 10:00-10:30. I semi-snuck out with them at about 11:15-11:30 until midnight. I work at 2 hour shift tomorrow because Jeffery is a douche.
Story of my life.
