♥ happy valentines day! ♥
so I was going to do a valentines post, but didn't get home until AFTER MIDNIGHT.
I love my script professor.
I dunno if I've talked about him before, but there's an extremely annoying guy in my script class. He interrupts lecture, then argues his OPINION, unsupported by facts, as long as he can hold the conversation. So today, my prof says "I want to get done a bit early today, so if you could just hold your comments and questions... well I guess I don't have to say that because he's not here." everybody laughed. AnnoyingGuy wasn't there!! YAY. but then the door cracked open. everyone looked apprehensively to see who it was. but no, it was just another guy in the class! so then my prof says to him, "We're all very happy it's you. We all keep looking at the door, hoping that one guy won't come in." LOL! And even the other annoying guy in the class, the old guy, didn't ask many stupid questions. the prof dismissed class like, an hour early or something. and all because there were no interruptions. \o/
I love my film group.
my group is made up of me, CuteGuy, QuietGuy, Superman/KindaAnnoyingGuy, and LeaderGirl.
we got the script semi-finished by early today (just to let you know how far behind schedule we are), and the project is due next Wednesday. we had no real plan, no shot list, a bare-minimum storyboard which I drew really fast, meaning it doesn't look at all right. so we got into the theatre to film the auditions, and CuteGuy turns out to be a pretty good actor. LeaderGirl and QuietGuy were the main shot-setter-uppers, which was good because I didn't really know what to do in that area. Superman (so named because he's obsessed with superman) tried to be all director-ish, but he's just too annoying for that to work for me. So CuteGuy and I took over the directing for part of it (that was the original plan, anyway). so anyway, getting back on track, we worked solid from about 6:30 till 11:something, when I left. and the others (minus Superman), were still working when I left!
the only problem? they made me act. I can't act. at least, not in front of anyone. I get really giggly and smiley and can't stop laughing. (I was probably also giggly because CuteGuy is really cute and also a goofball. he reminded me a bit of Dom, actually. LOL) But I think in the end, I did okay. though it was the wrong day not to wear a lot of makeup, because I'm sure I looked horrible.
I now have a huge crush on CuteGuy in my film group.
when Superman was trying to 'direct' me, I was very nervous, and I had three guys staring at my face for moments on end, and on top of that, CuteGuy was being generally adorable and making me giggly. >.< so yeah, Superman was like "and then do this, and then do this, and then go like this, and then this..." and then CuteGuy broke in and said "whoa, wait a second. that's a lot of direction for someone who's not had a lot of acting experience." and then he proceeded to help me calm down and get rid of my nerves a bit, as well as tell me that I shouldn't be worried how I look on camera because I look fine. aww.
also: he wears glasses (so adorable), and he kept lifting up his shirt for various reasons (costume changes and also just to make LeaderGirl angry), showing his stomach. and.. low-riding jeans... and... *totally dead*
I think it was kinda wierd, though, that I saw the sister of the guy I used to really like while I was waiting in the lobby. O.o it was cool that she recognized me, though. I (of course) knew her right away, but she came up to me after a while and said "I know you from somewhere, don't I?" LOL so that was cool, seeing her. I totally didn't expect her to remember me, because we only met during one show like, two years ago, and at the time I was just a random backstage person and she spent most of her time in the booth.
and omg, I can't watch Lost, Studio 60, House, or ANYTHING until next week. >.< totally booked solid from tomorrow night till Tuesday. O.O more filming tomorrow, then co-op Friday, then weekend class starting Friday night till Sunday, with filming a play on Saturday night, then filming sometime on Monday. whew. just typing that made me tired. I'm going to be so exhausted next week, if filming is going to play out anything like tonight's session did.
