So uhm winter break? Awesome. I'm loving every second of it, and the whole thing is just going by too fast. Before today I wasn't really looking forward to going back to Reed...not because I dislike Reed, I particularly miss my friends. However, break has been so nice and relaxing the idea of going back is one I was pretty much dreading

haha I love the light you shine on portland's perception of Reed. It amuses me endlessly.

It's quite simple: Reedies = the odd people who didn't get into Berkley, or the crazy-ass ones not even Berkley would take.

You're all good for a laugh, though *grin*.

Think how I feel, down in Eugene (aka Hippieland - or the place graduates of Reed and Berkley flock to).

That's silly. Berkeley is a totally different evnironment from Reed. Berkeley is GINORMOUS. I wouldn't want to go to Berkeley for undergrad. Some people like a large environment and the opportunities it provides, but I don't think I would do well in it.

uhm I'm going to go with she is not being entirely serious on the Berkley bit haha. Its just funny to hear what people in Portland think of Reedies, as far as stereotypes.
