So, today was the day when the grand moving of the rooms took place. Actually, we didn't completely finish. Megs still has to get stuff out of her old room so that my old bed can go in there for Ian. So tonight Ian gets to sleep on the bottom bunk in Loui's room and I get to sleep on my new bed in the room I share with Megs that was formerly known as my room. Considering that besides Christmas break I don't plan on being home again until I come home for Katie's wedding in August it should be okay. I found a bunch of random stuff today. Among it was my hospital bracelet from when I was born, pictures from my kindergarten table, a cool cross that I got for my first communion that I need to get a new chain for, and a bucket full of shells, driftwood, and cool rocks I've collected on the beach over the years.
At this point I'm completely exhausted and just want to crash! However, I still have a bunch of stuff in the family room that I need to haul up to my room. I'm thinking about leaving it till morning. However, I cannot find the little duck that I got from Meredith that is now my travel companion. . . so I may have to go ahead and move everything in hopes of finding it anyways.
Steve, if you read this I need to talk to you sometime. Let me know when would be good for you. I think I figured it all out. =)
