I'm too old lady to handle rock n roll lifestyle. However it's a nice change from my hermit living the last couple weeks due to cough and slowing of work because of holidays.
Feels like I've released some tension I was holding onto and didn't realize until my moments of complete calm and satisfaction recently.
So glad to not have normal 9-5 job. I drove down to san diego yesterday for a performance and today doing my "day" job in Huntington beach but it doesn't start til 5pm and it'll keep me out til 2 or 3am which is when I'll finally head home. Since I had time I took a scenic route up the coastline. I love how the ocean makes me feel.
I'll get some rest tomorrow but then it's a Xmas industry party with Matthews work. Be real nice to see him, he's been amazing lately considering how crazy work is. He's out every night this week because of work. But at least Friday should be fun for him, a Metallica show where he'll prob meet the band.
Two performances thurs. One for the firemarshals as a demonstration and the other is another show with Freakshow Deluxe.
I feel good, been lucky. Maybe cutting of 10 inches of hair was exactly what I needed.
