Happy Birthday to Me!
Okay, so, being the retard that I am, I totally forgot that today is my birthday. I mean, I'm not completely stupid. I knew my birthday was Sept. 5th and I knew it was coming up, but I didn't realize it was NOW. I woke up this morning to my mom's face right in front of me and she screamed "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Scared the crap outta me. So, yeah, today's my birthday. 15 fucking years old. Really not that big of a deal. Birthdays used to be something to look forward to. I used to count down the days, and now I didn't even know it was today. I guess it's because when you're little you're materialistic and you can't wait for presents, presents, presents! Now all a birthday is is like a contest to see who bothered to remember and who didn't. Who bothered to call and who didn't. Who acknowledged it and who did'nt. Whatever. Basically I view it as a day where, depending on how good of friends you have, you feel fab or you feel like crap. So far I got a phone call from Abby with her and her brother singing to me (embarrassing), Laura saying happy birthday, and a million psycho emails from Caitsy. Kristin, Kelly and Jamie saw me yesterday when we went to the movies so they don't have to call. I'm having a birthday party too. So all in all it's not bad. Like last year when it was the beginning of a new year at a new school and only Kristin had any idea it was my birthday.
I don't like birthdays. But I do like my presents. I'm going into kiddy mode because I LOVE MY PRESSIES!!! I gots candy to make me fat and pretty sparkly flip flop earrings and ORIOLES TICKETS (I love BriBri Roberts!!!) and moolah and charm bracelet charms and a shirt and a poncho thingy AND MY FAVORITE OF ALL my All American Rejects and Maroon 5 CDs!!! YAY CDS!!!!
But I still don't like birthdays.
Oh, and Cait if you're reading this, my mom saw the email with the dancing happy birthday man in his undies and, well, that was just funny. I adore you in every sense of the word! And I adore Laura too WHO BETTER COME TO MY PARTAY!!!
