http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/story/14021621/teenage_holy_war Okay, I understand religious tolerance and practise it regularly, but when Christian leaders use popular culture to mold imressionable minds around a bogus concept such as radical christianism, i am annoyed. The BattleCry?? Come on. "branded by God?" It is appalling. How is it possible for kids to create war on homosexuality, communism, etc. Take all the white supremacy ideals of conservative, suburban America and I think that is the gist of Luce and his teachings. It is the type of manipulation that you just want to dash into one of the concerts and burn all the propaganda. With all the resources and education how is it possible for people to still be so ignorant and close-minded? I mean, the documentary Jesus camp covers the same subject really. If you want to imagine there is a god, go right ahead. Maybe share your ideas, thoughts. That is not to say they should be force-fed in other cultures and to the youth as if there were no other way, as if it were the right way. Pisses me off so much. I think the whole Luce program is a cult following of dangerous proportions. Imagine some of these people running the country. Wait, some of them already are.
And I made some calculations. With my AP credits from the past three years I can enter Appalachian as a Sophmore!! Ecstatic to the point of eradic behavior.
