(no subject)
okay...i went to new york for the thanksgiving break and it was absolutely amazing...i want to move up there as soon as i get enough money. I decided not to put the pictures on here. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/doctorpuddinlove/my_photos
MONDAY:
We flew into New Jersey (where out hotel was)and got settled and then we took the subway to nyc and walked around and went to the top of the Empire State Building. Then we walked back to the subway in the rain. It was great.
TUESDAY:
We woke up and went to the Museum of Natural History. I saw some guy who looked and sounded like Jeff Corwin describing to his daughter all of the animals in the African Mammals exhibit. Then we went to this great deli that served jewish food but was run by puerto ricans. Then we went to FAO Schwartz and my brother out pogoed everyone there. Then i met up with Emily at NYU and we chased a rat into a hole in Washington Square Park and then walked around for a really long time. Then i met her roomies and got lost finding the subway.
WEDNESDAY:
We woke up and went to see the Rockettes and Radio Music Hall. I slept through most of it. Then we went to the Museum of Modern Art. It was amazing. Then we walked around and went to the New York Public library to kill time before my relatives got into town. The architecture in ny is amazing. every building has amazing artwork inside. Then we met up with my aunt and uncle and cousin and got some great pizza.
THURSDAY:
We woke up and went to the parade. It was a lot more fun than i thought it would be. My brother was amazing. He's such a good drummer. Oh and it turned out that Jeff Corwin was in the parade. So it actually was him in the museum. Then we walked around the financial district. i saw ground zero. its a big hole in the ground. We passed this church that was really great. i love religious artwork. then we went to grand central station. then we went to meet nathan in jersey for dinner. that was pretty good too.
FRIDAY:
We went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and had just enough time to see the Van Gogh pencil exhibit. it was amazing as well. then. we. went. to. SPAMALOT. THE funniest thing ive seen in a long time. then we went to a great italian restaurant and went to the airport. BOOO!
i'm fucking in love.
