Ohhh-- and I finally got my Gogol Bordello CD!! It was sitting up behind the registers, and apparently had been for a while: I'd ordered it a long time ago, but no one said anything and I forgot and thought that it had been sent back or something.
It is so good. I cannot get over how good this stuff is. It's got everything I need in feel-good music-- strong rhythm, violins, foreign languages, and a big swirl of weirdness. I'd really recommend it, but I'm not sure what other people's weirdness thresholds are like so you'll have to judge for yourselves. (The first song of theirs I ever heard was "Start Wearing Purple," and it still makes me happy whenever I hear it. The rest of the CD is absolutely on par with that track, though, so *squee*)
