House/Lie to Me Crossover Ideas
Very few stones seem to go unturned in fandom, but there's a definite dearth of quality House MD/Lie to Me crossover fics. Since fans are practically clamoring for such stories (and by "fans" I mean me), I thought I'd help things along by providing a few ideas...
1. House tracks down his biological father, who also just so happens to be Cal Lightman's father. The two men go on a cross-country trip together ala Danny De Vito and Arnold Schwarzenegger in Twins. Only these two are sexy. Oh wait, House already did that with "Birthmarks"... never mind.
2. Gillian and Cuddy meet at a support group for HBiCs who love too much. ATTHS potential. (That's right, femslashers. I hear you. I really do.)
3. House calls in The Lightman Group after he gets a look at Cuddy's shiksa mother. Turns out, Cuddy's not Jewish. She's just been lying for the last 25 years because she thought it would help her medical career.
4. House calls in The Lightman Group to do psychological testing on Foreman's personality. They determine it's guilty of a lie of omission.
5. House, Wilson and Cal meet at a casino in Atlantic City. Three words: One singular sensation!
6. Gillian meets Cuddy on a "How to Claim a Baby from a Meth Head" website. The two become fast friends. Again, ATTHS potential.
7. The Lightman Group's ongoing investigation into porn leads them straight to the workplace door of none other than James "Be Not Afraid" Wilson. (Do I even have to say it?)
8. House successfully treats Cal for the world's first diagnosed case of Manwhoritis. (It seems any ATTHS potential would defeat the point, but with a little creative license... whatever.)
