Earlier in the week, I apparently hit my head in my sleep (I *think* I vaguely remember doing it, but I'm not quite sure), and two days ago I noticed that I had an incredibly sore spot on my head. I got my retired nurse mother to look at it (who admittedly has a habit of exaggerating, but this time I was inclined to believe what she said, since just touching the bruise made me feel like I was about to pass out), and she exclaimed that my entire head was covered in dried blood. Great.
Anyway, yesterday at work around noon, the bruise began hurting and I got really dizzy and unable to see. I went and sat in the back for about five minutes and seemed to feel better, so I went back and finished my shift with no problems. Right before I went to bed, I started getting this weird internal headache and was having a lot of trouble thinking--I was talking but having trouble registering what I was saying (like I was drunk). I apparently was busy blabbering to my mother about how my head hurt. The feeling passed pretty quickly, and she then spent fifteen minutes explaining to me about how I probably had internal bleeding and there was blood pressing down on my brain and if I felt sleepy that it basically meant I was about to pass out or die.
Needless to say, I spent much of the night terrified to fall asleep (against my better judgment, since I felt fine). I finally got up and picked up a random Chris shirt I had lying in my corner because I figured if I died, I would at least want to be smelling my boyfriend's shirt while doing so. This put me to sleep disturbingly fast, and guess what..
I WOKE UP AND AM NOT DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ::claps::
