Looking back on it, when they were old, they did not remember that in this year it had ever rained or frozen. The four seasons were colored like the edge of a rose petal.--The Once and Future King
Today was undoubtedly one of the best days in recent memory. I woke up to beautiful weather for the first time this year, so I took Riley for a long walk. I came home and made some really delicious pasta.
I made a video of one of my sim horses, Dubai Lisa. It's cute but not nearly as great as my masterpieces "Tabasco Cat Kills the Prostitutes" and "Mineshaft: Da Rawest Horse of Da Year Candidate."
I participated in an awesome chat with
mumtaz, Tim, & Linda. All four of my sim horses (Ya Excellency, Allez Vous, Taurus, & Darwin's Theory) that ran this month all won stakes.
All of my favorites (except Harlington) that were entered today ran awesome...Quiz the Maid proved everyone who thought she was tailing off (including myself!) wrong in destroying the Sweetheart Handicap at Portland Meadows by seven lengths. Sharp Lisa (who is my favorite grade I horse in training right now, mostly by default, since I don't really love her, just like her) was exceptionally game in grabbing her first grade I win in the Las Virgenes. Bring on Sweet Catomine. Heckle (who bit me, once upon a time!) was a determined second to the very cool Big Booster.
Congrats are in order to
acoustic11 and
icey421, as two of their favorites, Tarlow & Summerly, respectively, won stakes today. :-D
