Everytime I have to reinstall windows, I spare a thought for the hard work, the dedication, the spirit and courage that has gone into.......cracking that particular OS.

we've got a couple of new pc's here at work in th IT department. i had to replace my xp box for the new vista machine so we can give them a flogging and test before we roll out new desktops to the rest of the firm later in the year. THAT should be interesting. can't wait til they release SP1 for this crazy OS.
you, know, it's got some shit hot stuff going on but unfortunately it has it moments of "sorry, i aint running the program for you anymore. close mutha fka!"
the boxes we're running it on are straight from the dell factory so there's some good stuff and a few areas that could use some improving too. 2GHz dual core intel chip with 2g RAM and a 80GB disk. overall, it runs fairly well except for some OS niggles.

Which was pretty cool for $300 :D
And my 'Primary box' which I got about 6 months ago (because im so proud, even tho its not that great now anyway) are:
Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4 @ 3.4, 2GB DDR2 800 Ram @ 850 lawl, 640GB HD (2 320's in RAID 0), GeForce 8800GTS 640MB OC, and and omg, Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum (for makin teh musicz) ...and a 19" LCD. Pretty happy :D
COMPUTERS! I dont think ill upgrade to Vista till the Performance ratio between it and XP has been fixed. Plus until I probably get a new PC. My Primary box isint powerful enough to run DX10 games really.
