Hope everyone is happy
Seeing is how i'm the only person in the c-store that never seems to get sick, never calls out, and never forgets when i work, i am the special being that gets to cover everyone magically at beck and call. Managers have forgotten when i can work, and then i have to reschedule to cater to them, co-workers "forget" they had a test the next day or realize that working coincides with fun time, and i'm there to pick up the pieces. I feel i've never been given the privelege of having someone cover for me. I recall a time when i asked someone to cover for me when Chadd forgot when i worked, and the person who covered came in 3hours (scheduled at 6 they came in at 10) late. But you wanna know something? as
AS HARD AS I'VE WORKED THIS SEMESTER i've recieved a writeup for not taking a long enough break and a for sanitizer in a coffee pot left by an unnammed manager
so sometimes i wonder where is the reward? if i didn't need a job badly i would quit today.
but alas, i go into work tonight around 10 because no one else can't.
i miss having fun and being able to relax a bit.
at least i get to close with joe. mmmrph. there's a reason we've never worked in the same location. we both believe we're right.
