How much more do we have to take before the kid gloves come off?
Everyone deriding the US for its performance in the Middle East please consider this:
Our military has been fighting with both hands tied behind its back for the past decade. Were the oppressive ROE to be relaxed, and open season declared upon militant extremists, there would be very few left to murder, rape, and enslave their fellow human beings.
We have the moral highground here. Yet we're afraid to commit. Hovering around the issue. Wailing, Gnashing teeth. Afraid of any kind of conflict.
Instead of supporting our most reliable allies in this conflict, the Kurds, our Administration has instead alienated them. We don't supply them like we used to either. And they're Still. Kicking. Ass.
What does it take for all the doves to realize the time for negotiation is over? Would they still be trying to negotiate were it their lives on the line?
The time has come to put boots on the ground.
Send in the Marines. The Army.
Launch airstrikes 24/7 365. Beat IS like a drum.
Until nothing remains to crawl, blackened, from a hole.
Make a Desert and call it Peace.
