v-day
so today is valentine's day. perfect weather to go with this perfect day. it's freezing rain out. you can't walk anywhere without slipping. i think this weather suits this day.
so since it's crazy outside, the buses were cancelled. i walked to school anyways b/c i always walk. there were 4 people in my french class. so we ended up crashing a grade 9 class that was watching "ever after". after that period, we all decided that this day would be a waste of time if we went to class. one of my friends (chelsea) has drivers ed. today and she didn't want to stay at the school all day by herself. so we took a taxi to our houses. so now i'm home alone. which is fine with me.
yesterday derek showed me the card he had made for lauren. let's just say it's huge and it's in the shape of a heart. it's so cute. lauren'll like it a lot.
my plans for the day include watching tv, eating food, skating, doing my hw that i didn't finish on the weekend. and maybe skipping skating to watch 24. ha. imagine that. my mom wouldn't let me do that. i'll just have to stay up real late to watch the later show. i have jazz band in the morning too. which means i won't get much sleep. maybe tomorrow'll be like today (weather-wise).
