HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!
just wishing everyone a happy chinese new year. it's the year of the rooster. and i'm not doing anything special. i have skating tonight. we're supposed to go out on friday. but it's my friend's surprise bday party. so i'm not sure. plus we'd be going with the parents of my 2 friends and my friends and their siblings. i don't think that was a good play by my dad. chinese new year i think should be celebrated by just my family and not with my friends family (both which are jamaican) plus i'm not even that sure if they like chinese food. oh well. maybe i'll just refuse to go. maybe we'll end up doing it another time. i wanted to go down to china town for some festivaties of some sort tonight. but my dad's out of town in the US somewhere. my mom won't be home until right before we have to leave for skating. *sigh. no celebrations over here.
jazz band started yesterday. it's really early. i have it tomorrow. then instead of 4th period lunch, i have it 2nd. b/c there's an assembly for grade 8's and my music teacher won't be there to teach. so she switched the classes around. the caf isn't even open 2nd period. i just don't want to go. she'd yell at me though. band after school too.
valentine's day is getting closer and closer.
*sigh
me and some single friends are getting together.
just the 3 of us and a bunch of movies.
that beats any kind of valentine's day thing the couples would do.
