(no subject)
been getting usual crap from parents whenever they're home -.-;;;;
but went up to nottingham yesterday, the journey was an absolute pain 3-4 hours in car with parents and gran since dad doesn't believe in stopping at service stations on long journeys. went to see the place i'll be staying at, uni ran out of spaces in halls so in private accomodation, but luckily this place is newly refurbished and so still half-empty. parents weren't happy with the room i was allocated; ground floor, looked out onto the road, and so asked for it to be switched and currently i've been allocated a new room on the 5th floor (4th to be honest but that's bad luck in chinese :x) and the kitchen there is bloody huge, it's about 3 times the size my my room at home and faces west and north and since we're in the south-east part of nottingham you can view the whole of nottingham and if try you could probably see my campus on the other side of town lol, and i'll be sharing this place with 3 other people. but i'll only get to move in there if other people also move in to fill that apartment, if i'm still alone they'll change my room T_T
also went to visit my aunt/uncle there who said i can go round their place for dinner/lunch/food in general since my flat will be down the road from their shop and i'm in the same part of notts as where their house is. and it turns out i'm the not the only cousin to have failed my first year :x their son failed his first year at uni of nottingham and also failed the resits and has to go see his tutors about what to do x.x
need to start updating my LJ more often, been having regular rants in my head recently which give me headaches and general depression but end up forgetting to do it in here instead because i'm so easily distracted by things ^^;;; (read sentence as too addicted to PristonTale to leave it alone)
