I got an A+ for IBUS212, the subject which I am no longer doing thanks to the ridiculous university. The other ironic thing in this is that I barely know anything about that paper and wrote like...a lot of "duh" things in the exam. I think I know why, it's International Business and we had to do comparisons between Japanese and the typical "western" culture in the exam and I am sooooo qualified to talk about that!
Work is well work. The Retail Manager is driving me crazy. I've never noticed before but he has this really annoying habit of stating the obvious or repeating what you've just said to make it sound like he came up with it. For instance (while talking about the tree train in Christmas Shop):
Retail manager: Why isn't the tree train going?
Me; Because it's broken. (And has been for like, ever, and I've told you this ten times already!)
RM: Oh really? Let's turn it on and see.
Me: It'll probably go now. Just to spite me.
RM: That would be funny.
Train doesnt go. Just makes horrific noise.
RM: Hmmm............I think the trains broken.
DUH. I just TOLD you that.
Speaking of trains, there were a lot of confused tourists and other such qualified people (old people) at the train station this morning. They ALL wanted the Waiarapa train which is like so infrequent on weekends its not funny. The old lady thought it had been replaced by buses and tried to tell me that all trains were replaced by buses. I phoned metlink and enquired and the dude on the phone was like "No. The trains are going. Where did she read that?" The old lady didnt believe me when I told her and so they all fussed around on the wrong side of the platform for 10 minutes until the Wellington train came along. Then they harrassed the guard on that who told them to hurry up and get on the right platform or they'd miss it. Lol.
Anyway I'm cooking a really nice dinner. A tuscan pasta and chicken bake and I really really want to eat it.
