As was demonstrated in an interview with Katie Couric, Sarah Palin is unable to name any Supreme Court case other than Roe v. Wade.
The Rules: Post info about ONE Supreme Court decision, modern or historic, to your LJ. (Any decision, as long as it's not Roe v. Wade.) For those who see this on your f-list, take the meme to your OWN LJ to spread the fun.
Honestly, first one that came to mind: Plessy v. Ferguson (1896).
Basically, it upheld the "separate but equal" doctrine that held sway (officially, anyway) for almost sixty years, until another court case I could name, but according to the rules I'm only supposed to mention one, so tough luck. Figure it out on your own, kids.
See, look, I'm smarter than a vp candidate (though I admit I had to look up the year). I need one of those Staples "That was easy!" buttons. XD
