Sombody brought bottled white tea to class today and mentioned how it's supposed to be healthy.
Bottled white tea... let me guess, it had all this other crap added to it in addition to the white tea. Like sugar. Like preservatives. Like I don't want to know what else.
Okay, yeah, so tea is potentially very healthful, and white tea has been getting a lot of good press lately, with studies suggesting that it is even better than the "amazing" green tea (better not be drinking that from the bottle either).
BUT HELLO. If you really want to get healthy, buy real white tea leaves, boil some water, and make tea with those two simple ingredients. Tea should also be consumed without sugar. And for those of you who add milk to your tea... lose the milk as well.
Have tea in its pure form by boiling tea leaves to reap its greatest benefits, instead of having the garbled up form that you yourself create by using tea bags and sugar and milk, or the garbled up form that is packaged in bottles.
Think people. Does drinking bottled white tea for health's sake make any sense? It's bottled and preserved, for heaven's sake!
